Setting up Outlook 2002 (XP) for Windows.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2002.
2. Select Tools -> E-mail Accounts from the menu.

3. Select the “Add a new e-mail account” option and click “Next”.

4. Select the “POP3” option and click “Next”.

5. Under “User Information”, enter your name and e-mail address in the space provided.
6. Under “Logon Information”, enter your full e-mail address in the “User Name” field, and enter your password in the “Password” field.
7. Under “Server Information”, enter mail.idmi.net for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers.
8. Click the “More Settings” button.

9. Check the box next to “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”, and then select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” from the list below.

10. Click the "Advanced" tab.
11. Change the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" port number from "25" to "587".
12. Click “OK”.
13. Click “Next”, and then “Finish”.
