Setting up Outlook 2007 for Windows.
- Open Microsoft Outlook 2007.
- Select Tools -> Account Settings from the menu.

- Select “New” from them window that appears.

- Select “Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP” from the list and click “Next”.

- Ignore the various input fields, check the box next to “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”, and click “Next”.

- Select “Internet E-mail” from the list and click “Next”.

- Under “User Information”, enter your name and e-mail address in the space provided.
- Under “Server Information”, select POP3 for the “Account Type”, and enter mail.idmi.net for both the incoming mail server and outgoing mail server.
- Under “Logon Information”, enter your full e-mail address in the “User Name” field, and enter your password in the “Password” field.
- Click the “More Settings” button.

- Click on the “Outgoing Server” tab.
- Check the box next to “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.

- Click on the "Advanced" tab.
- In the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" field, change the number from "25" to "587".
- Click "OK".
- Click “Next”, and then “Finish”.
- Click "Close".
