Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Port Setup in Mail for Windows Vista

  1. Open Windows Vista Mail.
  2. Select Tools -> Accounts from the menu.

  1. Select your account from the list that appears and click "Properties".

  1. Click the "Advanced" tab.
  2. Change the port number in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)" field to 587.
