Preparing for an IDMI Email Migration

This guide will tell you everything you need to know to prepare for your email to be migrated to our new service:
1) Set an official date to move to the new service.
a. Submit several dates and times that would work best with your schedule
b. Dates and time must be between Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
2) Prior to the migration date, any device that accesses email must have the following settings changed.
a. Outgoing Server -
b. Incoming Server -
c. Confirm SMTP Authentication (Should already be set)
d. Confirm recommended ports
1. Incoming 143
2. Outgoing/SMTP 25
ii. POP3
1. Incoming 110
2. Outgoing/SMTP 25
e. Confirm the account information we sent over is correct.
i. If changes are needed, send them over when possible
3) On your migration date, we will make the DNS changes to point you to our new service.
a. New web interface,
b. New quarantine interface,
i. You will still receive daily reports
