Gmail App - Standard Setup

Email Support > Android Email Setup
  • Firstly, open the Android Gmail Application and go to add a new account. Select the ‘Add an email address’ option.

  • Select ‘Other’ from the list of options.


  • Enter in your email address in the available field and select ‘Manual Setup’.


  • Select ‘Personal (IMAP)’ from the list of options.



  • Enter your password and hit ‘Next’


  • Make sure that the following screen exactly matches the settings below and hit ‘Next’. The server will need to be email.idmi.net

  • Make sure that the following screen exactly matches the settings below and hit ‘Next’. Make sure that ‘Require Signin’ is turned on. The server will need to be email.idmi.net



  • The settings on the next page can be left at the default settings shown below.


  • The ‘Account Name’ will be what your account is called on your phone. ‘Your Name’ is how your messages will be signed when sent.
