Gmail App - ActiveSync Setup

Email Support > Android Email Setup
  • Firstly, open the Android Gmail Application and go to add a new account. Select the ‘Add an email address’ option.

  • Select ‘Exchange and Office 365’ from the list of options.


  • Enter in your email address in the available field and select ‘Manual Setup’.


  • Select ‘Exchange’ from the list of options.



  • Enter your password and hit ‘Next’


  • Make sure that the following screen exactly matches the settings below and hit ‘Next’. The server will need to be email.idmi.net


  • A popup will appear to allow access to the email server. Select ‘OK’


  • As a continuation of the pervious popup, select ‘Activate’


  • The ‘Account Name’ will be how your messages are signed when sent.
